DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary is opening an Atlanta office with 12 local lawyers, led by Mark Grantham, formerly of Hunton & Williams. DLA Piper anticipates adding eight associates from Hunton and Jones Day and vows to have 50 lawyers there by year's end. Atlanta will be DLA Piper's hub in the Southeast, where it also has offices in Raleigh, N.C., and Tampa, Fla. "We have a lot of clients in that part of the country and clients in other parts of the world that are active there," says co-CEO Francis Burch Jr.
