Platypus Wear, which owned trademark registrations for the words for apparel, sought to bar Tuttle from using the words on her T-shirts and in the show. But two Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Falk & Rabkin partners convinced a San Diego federal judge that there was no need for a preliminary injunction.
