Former Westar CEO Gets 18 Years for Looting Utility

Former Westar Energy Inc. CEO David Wittig has joined the list of U.S. corporate executives whose financial mischief has led them from the board room to the cell block.

A judge in Topeka, Kan., sentenced Wittig to 18 years in prison on Monday for looting millions from the Kansas utility.
