The Supreme Court refused on Monday to step in and stop a Florida driver's class action lawsuit against Fidelity Federal Bank & Trust, filed under a federal privacy law. Justices Antonin Scalia and Samuel Alito said they were concerned that the bank could be forced to pay billions of dollars for buying vehicle records. And in an unusual move, Scalia wrote to explain that the Court may be interested later in reviewing the case "depending on the course of proceedings."
