Ross Nadel, the former criminal chief of the San Francisco U.S. Attorney’s Office, starts Monday as a partner at Cooley Godward.

Nadel, who also founded and led the highly regarded Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property unit, retired from the office in June after 24 years there. He’ll work out of Cooley’s San Francisco office.
