The firefighter who was run over by a private bus while he was bicycling to work during December’s transit strike in New York City is suing the Transport Workers Union, his lawyer said.

The multimillion-dollar suit, which was filed in State Supreme Court in Queens, also names Bear Stearns & Co., two private bus companies and the driver of the bus that hit firefighter Matthew Long on Dec. 22, attorney Christopher McGrath said Monday.
