Hatch's gambling backfired Wednesday, however, when a federal jury convicted him of failing to pay taxes on that prize. U.S. District Judge Ernest Torres sent Hatch to jail, saying he was a flight risk. "There's no amount of calculating that's going to get you out of paying your taxes," said Dr. Sean Kenniff, a fellow "Survivor" contestant.
