As New Jersey Gov.-elect Jon Corzine announced Zulima Farber as his attorney general on Jan. 11, the search for a first assistant and a criminal justice director went on.

Corzine originally had wanted to present a package for attorney general and first assistant, and possibly a criminal justice chief, before his inauguration Tuesday, but as of the close of last week, there were no takers for the positions.
