Magic Circle firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has named New York partner Brian Rance its next regional managing partner for U.S. operations.
Rance will take the reins in the spring from current regional managing partner Ted Burke, who plans to relocate to London to serve as chief executive. Rance specializes in areas involving finance, commercial banks, investment banks, insurance companies, managed investment funds and financial institutions.
