The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday dismissed a defamation lawsuit that Gennifer Flowers filed against Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and two former advisers to former President Clinton. Flowers sued James Carville and George Stephanopoulos in 1999 after they suggested on talk shows that the audiotapes she used to try to prove she and President Clinton had an affair were doctored. Flowers amended the suit in 2000 to add the former first lady.
