Former Greenberg Traurig lobbyist Jack Abramoff is discussing a plea deal with prosecutors that would give him up to 80 months in prison and require him to cooperate in a wide-ranging Washington corruption probe, according to a high-level source familiar with the case.

Abramoff is under indictment in Miami and facing trial for allegedly faking a wire transfer in the purchase of the Dania Beach, Fla.-based SunCruz Casinos fleet of gambling boats from Gus Boulis.
