A Bexar County, Texas, district court has sentenced a woman to 10 years in prison for stealing more than $140,000 from the law firm where she worked as office manager.
Terry Paxton, 42, had written 118 checks to herself over a three-year period, according to the local district attorney’s white-collar crime division.
