Continuing the trend of law firms scooping up staff from the fallen Coudert Brothers, Chadbourne & Parke has opened an office in St. Petersburg, Russia, with three attorneys — counsel Alexander A. Kalinov and Konstantin A. Osipov and associate Nonna K. Crane — all from Coudert’s St. Petersburg office. A fourth attorney, senior associate Ludmila A. Yegorova, formerly from Coudert’s Moscow office, joined the firm last week and will split her time between Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The St. Petersburg office is Chadbourne’s latest in the Commonwealth of Independent States, where it also has offices in Moscow, Kyiv, Almaty (whose six attorneys all come from Coudert) and Tashkent. The firm’s focus in the region includes oil and gas, telecommunications, real estate and corporate and corporate finance work.
