Richard Dean and Jonathan Cahn, partners of Coudert Brothers’ practice in the Commonwealth of Independent States association of former Soviet republics, have joined Baker & McKenzie’s global mergers and acquisitions and energy practices as partners. They will be based in Baker & McKenzie’s Washington, D.C., office.

Both were previously the managing partners of Coudert’s Moscow office, which Dean opened in 1988. Cahn founded Coudert’s Almaty office, the hub of Coudert’s energy and natural resources practice in Central Asia.
