Tulane said students who choose to return later will not be allowed to transfer credits earned elsewhere, and Loyola has encouraged students to withdraw if they don't want to return in January. While the schools maintain that it is essential for enrollees to return to New Orleans, others argue that such a decision is premature and perhaps unrealistic.
