Sleeping one's way to the top got more complicated on Monday as the California Supreme Court held that pervasive sexual favoritism could constitute workplace discrimination. Ruling in a case that involved what they called "an outrageous campaign of harassment," the court ruled unanimously that while an isolated workplace affair might be harmless, managers' sexual liaisons with multiple subordinates could create a hostile work environment for others.
