On the heels of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison's dissolution, another San Francisco Bay Area firm is dissolving: Partners at Skjerven Morrill have voted to disband the firm. The decision, which follows months of failed efforts to find a suitable merger partner, was announced to attorneys and staff on Monday. It's the latest of several midsize IP firms to disappear from the Bay Area landscape in recent years.
