When a non-Pennsylvanian hires a Pennsylvania lawyer knowing the work will be done from the lawyer's Pennsylvania office, the client can later be sued by the lawyer in Pennsylvania court for breach of contract under the state's long-arm statute, a federal appeals court ruled. The decision partially revives entertainment attorney Lloyd Z. Remick's suit against professional boxer Angel Manfredy.
