Three white male custodians in New York City's public schools have standing to challenge an agreement in which the city's Board of Education promised to give greater seniority to female and minority workers. Reversing a decision that had barred the three men from intervening against the settlement, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled the men had a property-related interest in their seniority status.
