Merging London firm Radcliffes is taking on the CEO from a Birmingham chambers. Vincent Denham will join from St. Philip’s chambers at the beginning of next year. He says: “The post at Radcliffes provides a wonderful opportunity as well as an exciting personal and professional challenge.” Denham will oversee the chambers’ move into new premises in central Birmingham before he leaves. St. Philip’s currently has 94 tenants. He says, “The move into the new building will be a milestone. “The last two years have been a roller coaster. It’s been terrific. St. Philip’s business is on its feet and it will go from strength to strength.” In other business news, Westminster firm Radcliffes is merging with Marble Arch firm Jay Benning & Peltz. Denham will join Radcliffes in January after the merger has been completed. Radcliffes will then have 39 partners, and the entire firm will practice from premises in Westminster. Head of St. Philip’s Rex Tedd QC says, “Sorry as we are to say goodbye to Vincent, we are very pleased to see that he has been appointed by Radcliffes, and we wish him every success there.”
