In its perennial fight with Harvard, Stanford Law School claimed this year’s bragging rights in U.S. News & World Report’s annual rankings of the nation’s best law schools.

Of course, neither was able to best Yale Law School, which again won the magazine’s title as the nation’s best. But Stanford did claim No. 2 again. Last year, Harvard shared the runner-up spot, but it slipped a notch to third in the latest rankings.
