On Wednesday, three eighth-grade Scituate, Mass. girls received five-day suspensions from the public Gates Intermediate School because of the contents of a Web page they constructed.

The page, created through The Express Page, a free on-line homepage server, blasted and bad-mouthed more than a dozen of the girls’ classmates, The Boston Herald reports.
