Dearborn Street Oyster Bar
Chicago, Ill.

From the inside, DSOB looks like it should be nestled in a small cove on the coast of Maine — ship’s wheel, brass rails and yellow-slickered fisherman included. But don’t hesitate to sample the Cajun fare. At $10.95 the pail-like helping of DSOB’s Gumbo File’ is an excellent choice. Generous portions of grilled chicken, andouille sausage and okra are the principal ingredients of this spicy bayou backwater. A side of freshly baked cornbread is the perfect compliment. If you are in the South Loop for lunch, don’t miss it.
