The family of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and CBS are trying to settle their dispute over rights to King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, according to a federal court docket.
Attorneys for both sides confirm their clients are talking about resolving the Kings’ 1996 suit over CBS’ use of a large part of the speech in a historical video.
