Two more firms -- one based in Washington with an Atlanta office and another based in Atlanta -- have announced salary hikes for first-year associates. Starting March 1, fledgling associates at Washington, D.C.-based Dow, Lohnes & Albertson will earn $125,000. Effective April 1, Atlanta-based Smith, Gambrell & Russell will give $10,000 raises across-the-board to all associates and increase starting pay for fledgling lawyers from $75,000 to $85,000.
