The Philadelphia Bar Association’s multidisciplinary practice task force will recommend what proponents call a middle-of-the-road proposal supporting fee sharing but only in entities that are at least 51 percent owned by lawyers.

Task force chairman Mark Alderman, co-chair of Wolf Block Schorr & Solis-Cohen’s executive committee, said the task force is finalizing a report that will be unveiled at the March meeting of the bar association board of governors. The board will most likely vote on the proposal next month.
