A coalition of three area law school clinics is set to present a group of prestigious professors from across the country as well as many local experts, all of whom will weigh in on the legal issues surrounding the interrogation of child criminal suspects.

The timely daylong program, “Protecting Children, Preserving the Truth,” is to address topics such as false confessions, Miranda rights and safeguards to assure the accuracy of statements children make to authorities.
