U.S. District Judge James Nowlin of Austin ruled Jan. 28 that the Texas IOLTA program did not unconstitutionally take a legal client’s money.
Nowlin, who has presided over the long-running dispute since it was filed almost six years ago, dismissed the challenge to the program with prejudice.
