Morris, Manning & Martin called lawyers from two other top Atlanta firms to the witness stand in a suit about allegedly fraudulent asset transfers.

The trial strategy, which involved questioning Kilpatrick Stockton and Smith, Gambrell & Russell lawyers about their advice to a client facing a hefty judgment, evidently paid off. Morris Manning’s client won a $2 million jury verdict Jan. 18.
