All Attorneys in Illinois now have until Feb. 1 to register with the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, regardless of whether they are “actively” practicing law or not.

Also what’s new is that this will be the first time in which attorneys who go on an “inactive” status will have to pay a $70 fee each year for the privilege on not practicing their profession.
