Undaunted by a Miami-Dade circuit judge’s dismissal of their suit against gun makers, county officials and their lawyers are pressing ahead in both local courts and in Washington, D.C.
“It does not deter from our efforts to compel the gun industry to design safer guns and change their negligent marketing efforts,” said Joe Ramallo, Mayor Alex Penelas’ assistant director of policy.
