A deal is a deal, the Georgia Supreme Court ruled Monday.
Insurance policy holders who, in 1996, ignored or rejected a free stock offer from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, are two years too late, the court concluded. The stock now is potentially worth $4,000 per shareholder, if a merger is completed.
