Fresh off the heels of a landmark $51.5 million jury verdict against a tobacco company, plaintiffs attorney Madelyn Chaber is leaving her firm, Wartnick, Chaber, Harowitz, Smith & Tigerman, to spend more time with her son.

“I’ve resigned as a shareholder from my law firm to go watch the green grass grow with my youngster,” said Chaber. “I have a kid who just turned 8, and I decided I wanted to spend more time with him than one day a week.”
