CAMDEN — Six former and current lawyers in the Camden City Attorney’s Office Wednesday filed a race discrimination suit in U.S. District Court that accuses City Attorney John Misci and Mayor Milton Milan of conspiring to “systematically remove” African-Americans from the office.

The suit alleges that Misci, who is white, set out to discredit and oust black lawyers and replace them with non-blacks who are more politically supportive of the mayor, who is Hispanic.
