As a law clerk, Sidney Calloway helped the federal government foreclose on black farmers. Now he gets a chance to set things right for perhaps hundreds of black farmers who faced institutional discrimination by the U.S. Department of Agriculture between 1981 and 1996. Calloway is one of about a dozen lawyers nationwide who will help administer the consent decree between the Agriculture Department and farmers in Pigford v. Glickman.
