The attorney for a woman who saw a co-worker being stabbed intheir workplace urged the justices of the Pennsylvania Supreme Courtlast week to uphold an award of workers’ compensation benefits for themental injury she claims to have suffered as a result of watching theattack.

Both employees were off-duty and sitting in the company’srestaurant when the incident took place.
