Lawyers at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison's San Francisco Bay Area offices are representing abused woman through a pro bono project set up with a local legal assistance foundation. More than two dozen attorneys have signed up to help women get restraining orders against their abusers and assist them with custody, child support and divorce issues. "You can do something that makes a difference in someone's life. You don't often get that at a big-firm practice," said Brobeck associate Isabel Traugott.
