Lawyers are good, not greedy. Courteous, not rude. Honest, not shifty. That's the message the State Bar of Georgia is selling for $1 a hit. The vehicle? A "Client Care Kit" that offers the less-sophisticated a view of how suits are handled, fees determined and what they should expect from an attorney. Samples were mailed to all bar members several months ago. The $37,000 endeavor, funded mostly by the Georgia State Bar Foundation, is designed to educate the client and remind lawyers to be nice.
