When lawyer Allan Kelley entered the courtroom of Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Juan Ramirez Jr., he felt a little out-manned.
On one side sat supporters and lawyers for Victor Manuel Navarro, a Dominican seaman who once worked for Kelley’s client, Atlantic Express Corp. of Miami. Navarro is suing the company for injuries he allegedly suffered in a fall while aboard a ship at sea.
