Barbara A. Jewell, whose son Richard reportedly has collected libel settlements totaling six figures, has settled a different case against the U.S. government for $2,500.

Barbara Jewell claimed the government and Justice Department officials violated her civil rights when they searched her Buford Highway apartment she shared with her son for evidence in the July 1996 Olympic Park bombing.
