The Georgia Court of Appeals has cleared lawyer R. Scott Tobin of thestern rebuke and steep sanctions he suffered before Fulton State CourtJudge M. Gino Brogdon.

Peppering its review of the lower court action with phrases such as “Itwould defy logic” and “plainly unfair,” the appellate court undid theassessment of $27,158 in sanctions against Tobin for supposedly deceivingBrogdon about his client’s insolvency.
