On Wednesday, the parents of the 13-year-old victim in a fatal bus stop beating by fellow student Jonathan Miller, filed suit seeking at least $2.5 million in compensatory damages the Millers. The teen-ager was found guilty of felony murder in May and sentenced to life in prison. But the Millers anticipated the suit, even before the criminal trial that would end with their son sentenced to prison for life, and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last February.
