Intel Corp., the manufacturer of the popular Pentium line of computer chips, is asking a federal judge to permanently shut down a pornographic Web site that uses the address pentium2.com. Intel filed the suit against Newtown Communications and its owners, the Maglietta brothers, Anthony, Andrew and James. According to the suit, the word Pentium is a "unique and fanciful" trademark that was "coined and created" by Intel, noting that the word does not have any dictionary meaning in the English language.
