Even though a majority of New York City's young lawyers say they like their work, more than one-fourth say they expect to change jobs in the next 18 months. Responses to the latest New York Law Journal poll reveal that the number of dissatisfied lawyers and job jumpers increases proportionally with the size of the firm at which they work. And more than 40 percent of associates at large firms said they do not intend to remain lawyers throughout their careers.
