Claiming a calculated plan existed to “destabilize and destroy” its firm, Chicago’s Holleb & Coff yesterday filed suit against Duane Morris & Heckscher, Duane Morris chairman Sheldon Bonovitz and partners who moved from Holleb to Duane this summer.

Filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, the lawsuit alleges the 11 partners participated in a premeditated defection and breach of fiduciary duty designed to damage Holleb & Coff both professionally and financially.
