Minority lawyers think that Anne McNamara, general counsel of American Airlines, is doing what she does best. In her case, that includes pressuring law firms to honor their commitment to diversity.
McNamara, who is also vice president of American’s parent AMR Corp., has been awarded the first National Diversity Leadership Award by the Coalition of Bar Associations of Color, which represents the Hispanic National Bar Association, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the National Bar Association and the Native American Bar Association.
