Dave:There is room for at least 7 varieties of Windows, each potentiallyspecialized and optimized for market niches: (1) basic home users who surfthe web and exchange email, (2) desktop publishing, (3) web site hosts, (4)CAD/CAM (computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing), (5) gameplayers, (6) basic business workstations and (7) LAN (Local Area Network)servers. There are other possible niches, for hospital networks, networkson Navy ships, and so on.
