To deal with a recent flood of federal and state charges of criminal misconduct against private companies and their executives, some law firms are expanding white-collar crime practices.
One is Stamford Conn.’s Day, Berry & Howard L.L.P., among the state’s largest firms, at 225 lawyers. It recently announced the addition of two attorneys to its government investigations practice group, bringing to eight the number of lawyers in the group.
