The woman's Philadelphia attorney hopes to seek certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court. If not, an upstate Pennsylvania prosecutor said he would likely re-try the case. The woman accompanied the then 13-year-old girl to a N.Y. clinic in 1995. She posed as the girl's stepmother and signed the child's medical history form.
