Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court reversed field and decided not to hear the appeal of a woman who was criminally prosecuted for accompanying a teenaged girl to New York to obtain an abortion.
The woman’s Philadelphia attorney hopes to seek certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court. If not, an upstate Pennsylvania prosecutor said he would likely re-try the case.
