Based in Richardson, Texas, Susie Hoeller, of counsel to Dallas’ Haynes and Boone L.L.P., is a high-tech and computer lawyer, so what is she doing representing a 17-year-old Kosovo Albanian refugee?
For one thing, Ms. Hoeller is also a director of the Dallas branch of Catholic Charities and devotes more than 100 hours each year to pro bono work, fighting to win asylum for refugees. Before the Kosovo conflict, she did similar work for Bosnian refugees in 1992.
